Support CHS Band

We are extremely pleased to announce that Jen Caraglior and Katey Hudak have agreed to be co-presidents next year.

There are a few important positions that we still need to fill.

Executive VP - Assist the President and be willing to step in should the President be unable to continue. (With two presidents this is really a position that can watch and learn and be set-up to take over as President in the following year or two.

Treasurer - Maintain financial and accounting records of all Band Booster transactions and present monthly accounting to the Board. Makes deposits and writes checks for the Band Boosters.

VP-Communications - This is someone to perform all kinds of communications such as publicity, website, and telephone tree. Also helps with advertising of events and press releases.

VP-Drum line - Oversee the Drum line program and be a liaison to the Board on drum line activities.

Standing Member - Member of the board that assists in different areas that there is a need.

Hey, Bando Parents... You can pay online with a credit card for band-related costs, such as your fair-share contribution, your shoes, or anything else that needs to go to the treasurer. Just explain what you are paying for in the comment field on the order form.

We have CDs and DVDs for sale. If you know what you are looking for, just enter the media of your choice in the comments field on the donation form. Single CDs are $10 plus $3 shipping. If you want to know what's availabe, send us a request and let us know what you are looking for. Someone will get back to you directly.

Booster Meetings...

Booster meetings are being held this year on the first Thursday night of the month except for holidays, when it will be moved to the second Thursday. All parents are welcome to attend.

When: First Thursday of the month (unless announced otherwise)

Time: 7:00 PM

Where: Band Room

WE CAN ALWAYS USE PARENT HELP! The Band Boosters are always in need of parent involvement to help with ongoing activities and events. If you want to help in any way, use the contact list (in the packet you received at the beginning of the year) to call a board member, show up at one of the meetings, or fill out our response form.

Things band parents need to know...
